Reasons...

We are NOT on a diet!! We just re-taught ourselves how to use the kitchen! What I have found is that many of our friends would like to share in our weekly meal planner, so they too can have "healthy eating" success, without doing the extra work. So - I have created this menu blog!

You are blessed in the fact that you ARE NOT in my testing audience. You get the good recipes, after I have tweeked them.

What I suggest... Find about a months worth of recipes that you like. Then, just repeat every other week or mix and match, based on your schedule.

However, BEFORE you start changing your diet... First, I suggest going to www.about.com. Find the men (or women's) nutrition guide. Enter your weight & the weight you want to achieve (or maintain). From here, you will know with and without exercise, how much your daily caloric intake should be (as well as total carbs, fats, and proteins for each day.)

Then - start meal planning! Log your daily intake! Don't forget coffee creamers, drinks, snacks, etc. Count every gram & calorie. If you are like me, you will be surprised that your standard meals previously - added up quickly & you ended up overeating your daily allowances, without knowing it.

Good luck!
